  I have been a patient of Dr. Kessler since he opened his practice 9 years ago. He is the best doctor I have ever had. I have recommended him to several of my friends and colleagues and they all still use him. Sometimes you have to wait, because he does not rush his patients. If you are more worried about your schedule than your health...go to a doc in a box. If you want old fashioned excellent doctor care, you cant beat Dr. Kessler.

  I moved back to Georgia in 2005 and my former doctor had retired. He was wonderful and truly I was spoiled, he was the best doctor in the World!! So, for eight years I had gone to any number of doctors in the Canton area...and have even gone to Emory to find a personal doctor that I could totally trust in every word he said. I HATE the drive from Canton to Emory! I have at 75 had a couple of serious incidents where I actually NEEDED a doctor, but for just regular "stuff" I am comfortable going to his P.A. and she is fantastic! I just love her.... SHE IS PATIENT WITH ME!!! I guess I can see Dr. Kessler any time I want, but most of the time I really don't need to waste his time. He has more serious patients. I never have a problem with her renewing my prescriptions if they are the "common" kind that you really take year in and year out...my insurance pays for all blood work done at Quest and they have a person in the office that is with Quest, so you don't even have to go to the Quest building. For most medications and cholesterol all you need is a blood test, so you can save the things when you NEED to see Dr. Kessler or Heather for when you REALLY need a doctor. My favorite saying is "I don't make SOCIAL CALLS on doctors".' Being my age and remembering when people only went to doctors when they NEEDED A DOCTOR! Especially during WWII when most of the doctors were serving in the war. We had a shortage of doctors. I also have had three BABIES and always appreciated when the pediatrician doctors didn't force me to have more well baby checks than I needed. They don't see babies, and I am not planning to have any more; but I am really fed up with all these CORPORATION BUSINESS DOCTORS that want people to come in every three months to collect their VERY EXPENSIVE office calls for just a WELL CHECK...are you KIDDING ME! Even with good insurance, and I do have good insurance. The total cost, today, for a simple office call, not the co-pay, is outrageous! It is more the cost of doing BUSINESS than the actual medical CARE. I realize that for a doctor I am very demanding and don't want to waste money on medical care I don't NEED. I have been kicked out by three CORPORATIONS, because I refused to make the every three-month MANDATORY "WELL VISITS” just to tell me I AM DOING FINE!!! It is like making you go to WALMART of doctors’ offices for what they can get from the insurance. That ISN'T FREE, it makes all our premiums GO OUT THE ROOF, and people simply will not SAY "NO". Dr Kessler is excellent as a doctor and has the attitude of a Dr. Welby and Dr. Kildare and Dr. Gillespie. While of course they are fictional...they are the "ideals" of what people want doctors to be. That is what I had for 25 (Harvard Internal Medicine and Cardiac doctor) years in Sandy Springs and I was young and healthy ...then I moved. I would drive back Northside, and Sandy Springs to see MY DOCTOR; from Albuquerque. If that gives OBAMA any idea as to what KEEPING YOUR OWN DOCTOR means to some people. 1600 miles one way. I give a full five stars to Dr. Kessler and nurse Heather Hardison. THEY ARE REALLY GREAT and I have been going to them for about three years now and feel totally settled with my finally found doctor. I am sure most people know what I mean with a REAL DOCTOR...I sincerely hope, at 75, my Dr. Kessler doesn't change. I would be heartbroken if he were to join a group and live under the CORPORATION RULES of the ACA doctors and make demands of me that I simply can't handle. I adore my doctor and his office staff. I think they are great! I couldn’t be more pleased or confident. They also are great about returning calls.
