  TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I gave the agency one star but I wish there was a 0 star option. I am completely disappointed in this agency. I have been with the Jim Pope Agency since 2007, and like the previous reviewer have not had to deal with them much because I filed very few claims too. Recently the Agent- Jim Pope Jr. made an error that has cost me a lot and is not accepting responsibility. I had a car that was involved in an accident and totalled, I informed my agent that it was totalled and did not want to pay insurance for a car I did not have... Well he never took it off my policy and my policy ended up getting cancelled for an outstanding balance. Unfortunately, I got into an accident during that period not realizing that my insurance was cancelled. Well now my car repairs are not covered and I have to pay for it out-of-pocket. Now they want me to pay for the balance in order to reinstate. The balance they want me to pay is for insurance for when my car was totalled and I was without a car until I got another car (about 2 months of my monthly premium rate). My agent was already aware of the car being totalled and I had asked him to cancel my policy until I got another car...infact my title had already been handed over to Allstate. And like the other reviewer, I too cannot seem to reach them by phone. They almost never answer the phone. Once the assistant- Dwayne said they would call me back and I am yet to hear back from them. It is unfortunate that Jim Pope Jr. is ruining this business that his father had such a good reputation for. If Jim Jr. continues at this rate, they will be closed and out of business in no time!!!.....
