- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪started as just a cleaning and was recommended that a crown was needed. ask if just pulling would be better because could not afford a crown. was talked into it.and after the process for the crown, tooth began to hurt. then was told now a root canal was needed. (before no pain till prep for crown started) now they needed more money. ask what it would cost, was told $140. When root canal done now the cost for just root canal jumped to $278 instead of the $140. i refused to pay . and with tooth still hurting elected to have tooth extracted. Over three hundred dollars for a crown i dont even have a tooth to put in onMarch 24, 2017by Michael White
