  I had a very positive experience at Cherokee Imaging for an MRI I had on my head--a very long one hour procedure. That's why, when I was sent to a nearby imaging facility to get a different MRI and had to wait 40 minutes in a packed waiting room only to be told they wanted 3 X the out of pocket cost that I had paid to Cherokee Imaging for the head MRI that I called my doctor and asked her to reschedule here. I didn't know there was such a difference in what facilities charge. I had always went to wherever my doctor told me and paid whatever the facility said I had to pay. Didn't know you could shop around for imaging prices. You can and you should--$500 vs 1,500 is a big deal to me. Thank you Cherokee Imaging for being fair!

  Bethesda community clinic got me a quick appointment here, when they thought I might have appendicitis, the gals at Cherokee imaging got me in right away, they were nice and aside from the deceiving solo cup full ok icky ink.. it was a quick process they even gave me a blanket when I went into the "Stars Gate" (the CT machine was huge) they said I'd have results in an hour it was only 20 mins. I ended up having appendicitis and thanks to having the scan in my hand the ER took me right back and my appendex was removed at mid night. Thanks for all your help Cherokee imaging
